February 2009 SmartMetals booth - ISE show 2009   The SmartMetals department at Sky-Lite Holland B.V. has grown tremendously in 2008. Corresponding to this development, our booth surface had doubled for the ISE show in 2009.   The extra space enabled us to create awareness for a larger part of our assortment, to national and international visitors.   The most interesting eye catchers on our booth were the new projector mounts for the Hitachi A100 series and the Sanyo PLC-XL50, both with a unique integrated fine adjustment. Furthermore we showed a universal continuous wall mount for diverse short throw projectors and the flat screen housing.       pictures:   1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7     December 2008 Narrowcasting systems at BP booth   Also BP was convinced about the quality and the service of MVIE, and therefore chose MVIE as their partner to integrate the new narrowcasting system in their shops. Once again there was chosen for the SmartMetals products, and combined with the professional displays of Samsung.   End 2008, MVIE installed this system in the shops of 20 BP service stations, the system plays BP-TV and WBC-TV (Wild Bean Cafe). The narrowcasting program shows advertisements about for instance Ultimate fuels or the delightful coffee.   The razor-sharp content creation and-control are in hands of an external organisation, located in Amsterdam. In 2009 the other 100 stations will follow.      October 2008 Dixons chooses Narrowcasting   Narrowcasting is a growing trend in the market; with this system a visual message can be communicated to a select target group.   In over 130 subsidiaries of Dixons, a narrowcasting system was installed. MVIE, enthusiastic dealer of the SmartMetals products, got the privilege to fit these many stores with a Sony flat screen and a SmartMetals mounting system.   For the content on the screens, Dixons closed a deal an external organisation. Now the media platform is up and running in all stores.    February 2008 SmartMetals booth - ISE show 2008   End of January we presented our SmartMetals AV-Mounting systems on the "Integrated Systems Europe 2008".  We really would like to thank everyone who visited our booth during this event. This website provides a broad overview of our products and outlines all possibilities at Sky-Lite. Besides that, it is possible to download technical specifications and pictures from all AV-Mounting systems; which can be used during installations and offers to third parties.         May 2007 Newly built office finished    To pave the way for our strong growth over the past years, Sky-Lite extended her office. The total floor surface has doubled (from 1000m2 to 2100m2). The milling department and the wood warehouse has moved to the same department as our integral foam part. There is also a separate warehouse for the audiovisual mounts with its own assembly department.       pictures:   1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5  February 2007 New CNC Milling machine    In its early days, Sky-Lite was one of the first companies in the market who obtained a CNC machine. This turned out to be a success in the flightcase industry. This year the company purchased a second CNC machine. With the new computer operated miller, Sky-Lite increased her milling capacity over 3 times. This machine also offers more possibilities for all kinds of applications.

Amplifier Racks

Sky-Lite Holland BV has developed an amplifier rack, which meets the most stringent requirements set by the professional audio. We selected a TechnoCase flight case as a basis, of which the front cover slides inwards, alongside the amplifiers. Naturally this system is based on precision ball guides. As such, no ‘remaining parts‘ of the flight case will remain, which are known to be a hindrance during production. By means of one single manoeuvre the amplifier rack is ready for use.         For the interior we have developed a fully adjustable, modular inner rack. This steel inner rack can be mounted as such that the amplifiers can at all times be locked at the front and rear side As the number of damping rubbers to be mounted into the rack in the flight case is your own choice, you decide the degree of muting or damping as well. This flight case with steel inner rack can be transported on flights as well (optional). For this purpose, two flight strips are attached to the side of the flight case, which are mounted – through and through - to the strengthened corners of the case. This flight case is delivered with an inspection certificate for a content of 200 kg.
